Miscanthus ‘Little Kitten’
It prefers full sun, and consistent moisture. Most Miscanthus varieties reach 6’ or more in height. If you don’t have the space for that, this is a great alternative.
Other notable cultivars are Miscanthus ‘Purpurascence’, which gets purple-red fall color and grows around 4’ in height. Miscanthus ‘Adagio’ is also similar to ‘Little Kitten’ in height, and would make a great substitute if it is not available.
