The streets of Ann Arbor are lined up with artists and visitors from Wednesday, July 15, through Saturday, July 18.

What we had believed was that the fair primarily was there for the selling of high-end works of art, but it actually has now become a festival for all sorts.  The feature is still art, but the atmosphere is that of a celebration of life.  Large and small retailers line the streets selling their features as well, one of our favorite was Urban Outfitters.  Amongst all the outdoor shopping, bars and restaurants are featured throughout, and the surround sounds on the performance stages add to the celebration.

At the South University Art Fair, at Willard and Church; they are celebrating The Ark’s 50th anniversary with a stage will be set up at Liberty and Ashley, among the Summer Art Fair artists.
