This cultivar is a dwarf variety of oak leaf hydrangea. Pee-Wee features white flowers that fade to pink, beautiful burgundy fall foliage and has a cinnamon-colored bark in the winter. Makes a beautiful specimen or foundation plant in a border or group planting.
This variety grows to about 4′ tall x 3′ wide, which is quite smaller than the species which can reach 10′ x 10′. Oak leaf hydrangeas prefer partial sun to full sun, and a well drained soil.
