Anemone ‘Honorine Jobert’

This beautiful fall blooming perennial has an airy, graceful look about it.  Growing 3-6′ tall when in flower, the blooms appear high above the clump of foliage at the base.

Once established this plant will spread by rhizomes, and can invade other plantings, so plan on taking some time to help keep it in its bounds each year, or it can get away from you.

This plant prefers a part shade/part sun location, and a well drained loamy or occasionally moist soil.  The flowers are unique in that they close up at night or when it is cloudy.
