Unfortunately it has happened again.  We have had a few beautiful warm weeks, and everything has started to bloom, and we’ve been hit with frost throughout Michigan.  A general “rule of thumb” is that it is safe to plant your annuals after Mothers day, although with the weather we have been having, many people have already started planting their gardens, and farmers planting their fields.

This late frost has happened in previous years, and greatly damages the fruit production in Michigan.  We hope that many Michigan farmers were able to protect their crops last night, and will still have a bountiful harvest this fall.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day despite the cold weather!  The weather looks like it will warm up again this week, and more spring rains on the way.
