Plant of the Week

Goat’s Beard – Now here’s an interesting plant!  It looks like a giant Astilbe, and also requires similar conditions.  It is a dense, bushy clump of lacy foliage that grows well in moist, shady locations.

Blooming in early to mid-summer, the white feathery plumes hover above the foliage at a height of 4-5′ tall with a similar width.  A fantastic addition to any shady garden.
